Matt Minarik has been in direct mail since 1985 and has been presenting award winning direct mail seminars for 23 years. Over the years, Matt has made well over 100 presentations to tens of thousands of attendees and over 95% have given his seminars top ratings. Matt taught Cleveland State University’s course on direct marketing in 1997.
Matt attended John Carroll University for two years and then transferred to The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. Matt resides in Cleveland, Ohio. He is married and has six children. Matt is a guest lecturer at John Carroll University and Hiram College for the undergraduate marketing major students and the MBA program. Matt is president of Hi-Q group; a lead generation and sales follow-through consulting agency focusing on direct mail lead generation and sales.
Matt developed a scientific ‘process’ for lead generation and follow-through that combines science with art. This has led to amazing response rates of as high as 73% for campaigns. Matt was IBM’s #1 Lead Generator for IBM’s Software Group for 2001 and 2002. He has 24 years’ experience in producing very high response direct marketing campaigns. As a national speaker and presenter on direct marketing Matt has published the booklet, "12 Rules of Good Direct Marketing," which has been circulated in the US as well as four other continents. Matt is currently authoring a book, “How To Generate Leads by IBM’s #1 Software Marketer.” He has given seminars in dozens of cities and to over 1,000 business owners across the US and Canada, and was the top marketing presenter at IBM’s Lotus World Conference.
